how to register juniors?

Registration deadline : Sunday 23:59 one week before the tournament

For the registration we differentiate between 'BVN Event Tag' and 'BVN Junior Tour'

BVN Event Tag   (U9...U12)

Juniors should be reported to Swiss Badminton, but this is not a requirement for registration

Registration by e-mail to the tournament manager of the relevant tournament (if possible one e-mail per club) with the following data:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Club
  • Date of birth
  • Gender

Remarks:

  • A normal registration includes training, lunch and tournament ... otherwise please apply a notification at the registration
  • The e-Mail addresses of the tournament managers can be seen here

BVN Junior Tour   (U13...U19)

Juniors must be mandatory reported to Swiss Badminton, otherwise a registration ist not possible

Each junior (or the parents) registers online on the Swiss Badminton website

1. Junior must be reported as member of Swiss Badminton by the club responsible

  • deposited e-mail address must be correct for registration!
  • deposited date of birth must be correct for registration!

2. Find the player ID of the junior

  • www.swiss-badminton.ch
  • Wettkampf > Ranking > Herreneinzel or Dameneinzel
  • select club and press "Filter"
  • a list of all reported players with the selected gender of this club appears
  • Attention: the ranking lists are updated each Tuesday midday, before new members are not visible
    (in this case the club responsible may help you finding the player ID)
  • the relevant number is listed as "SpielerID"

3. Create a login for a junior

  • www.swiss-badminton.ch
  • press "Login" (right above)
  • press "Anmelden" (right)
  • the form "Verification" appears
    • enter player ID
    • enter date of birth
    • enter gender
    • press "Verify"
  • after successful verification the form "Account" appears
    • define your username (allowed characters : letters, numbers, point, hyphen, underscore)
    • enter your e-mail address
    • enter your desired password twice
    • accept the "Nutzungsbedingungen"
    • press "Register"
  • afterwards a link is sent to the given e-mail address (perhaps look at your SPAM folder)
  • click the link in the e-mail, then the account is active

4. Register a junior for a tournament

  • www.swiss-badminton.ch
  • press "Login" (right above)
  • enter username and password
  • press "Login"
  • Wettkampf > Turniere
  • find the relevant tournament (RTJ - BVN Junior Tour ...) and click of this tournament
  • click "Tournament link"
  • press "Hier klicken zur Online-Eingabe"
  • register the junior for the different disciplines
    • Double and Mixed : don't forget the partner
    • Attention : you can not play Mixed AND Double, because all double categories play together
    • registration is always done for U-19 (Separation to different strength pools is done at the tournament)
    • Girls and boys play together at the tournament
